Charleston, SC, November 15, 2016 — Advanced Aircrew Academy announces they have recently published an updated version of their Winter Operations / Surface Contamination eLearning Module.
Jim Weaver, Director of Instructional Design for Advanced Aircrew Academy, said "There have been extensive changes in FAA guidance for cold weather operations this year, most importantly the Takeoff and Landing Performance Assessment (TALPA) Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC) Runway Condition Assessment Matrix (RCAM) braking action codes and definitions." Additional updates include a summary of the changes to the 2016/2017 Holdover Time Tables and the cold temperature restricted airports.
