Advanced Aircrew Academy announces a new online module: Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B). This new module complements Advanced Aircrew Academy’s comprehensive library of more than 30 online modules available for flight departments.

The ADS-B module covers operating procedures, flight planning, MEL procedures, human factors considerations, ADS-B phraseology, normal and abnormal system operation, aircraft IDs, data source errors, and incident reporting. The training is in compliance with FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 90-114 and guidance in the 8900.1.

Operators seeking Operations Specification (OpSpec)/Management Specification (MSpec)/Letter of Agreement (LOA) Paragraph A353, Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Operations Outside of U.S. Designated Airspace can use Advanced Aircrew Academy’s ADS-B online training module to satisfy the training requirements.

The ADS-B module highlights Advanced Aircrew Academy’s ability to affordably customize course content for operators. Company specific operating procedures can be integrated into the course.
