Advanced Aircrew Academy can deliver either individual modules or a group of modules as part of a flight department proficiency program and/or to meet your International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) training needs. You can select the group of modules you want from any of those listed on our website. Supplement your aircraft-specific training with our general operating subjects training.

We have a complete line of modules available to meet your IS-BAO training needs, including Emergency Procedures, Aircraft Surface Contamination, Safety Management Systems (SMS), Dangerous Goods, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), International Procedures, Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT), Crew Resource Management (CRM), High Altitude Operations, and Fatigue Management.

IS-BAO 20th Edition Training Explained

Step 1

Our process of setting up your online training begins with a conversation about what training you would like to accomplish online. Are you looking to comply with IS-BAO requirements and recommendations? Or, are you simply looking to fill in some training gaps not covered in your aircraft-specific training program?

Our most popular subscription plan for business aviation operators is a package of 8 modules per year for each pilot and mechanic, and 4 modules per year for each flight/cabin attendant, scheduler/dispatcher, line service, and office staff. You choose the modules.

You can also purchase individual modules right from our website or by contacting us.

Step 2

Once we know what your goals are, we can propose a recommended list of modules. Let us know when your next IS-BAO audit is scheduled and we can also propose a timeline to deliver the modules. We typically deliver two modules every quarter, but are flexible based on your needs.

Some IS-BAO topics require training on your company-specific procedures. For topics like your Operations Manual, our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will begin the customization process. They take our modules and can integrate your operator-specific procedures.

We also request some images of your aircraft and operations to create an exclusive portal for access to log into your dedicated online training center. Although we set up a personal online learning center just for your flight department, we can keep the corporate branding generic if you prefer additional privacy. 

Step 3

Within about one week, we can have your personal learning center set up with the first module available for everyone.
